THE SEASON OF LENT 2010
There are several special Lenten studies:
1. During Sunday School from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Rev. Maze leads a study of The Path of His Passion by Bill Crowder.
2. On Tuesday evenings at 7 P.M. at the Gold's home, Jill Gold leads a study of Picturing the Face of Jesus - Encountering Christ through Art.
3. On Wednesday afternoons at 1:30 P.M. Retta McSweeney will lead a study of Experiencing the Passion of Jesus by Lee Strobel and Garry Poole.
4. On Friday evenings from 7 to 8:30 P.M. at the Smith's home, Pastor John will lead a study of the book of Revelation based on a book he has written.
ALL ARE WELCOME TO THESE LENTEN STUDIES!
COME TO SUNDAY SCHOOL:
Our usual format is to have two adult classes. One is a Bible Class in the parlor; the other class looks at various topics and books.
During the Lenten Season we have one combined class in the parlor on The Path of His Passion.
YOUTH GROUP!
Youth Sunday School meets in the Youth Room. Glen Chancellor is the teacher/leader. The topics for January/February, 2010 include "Basic Presbyterian Beliefs" and "Topics the Modern Church Doesn't Talk About."
There is also a youth Wednesday night Bible Study at 6:30 P.M. taught by Walter Smith.
Our Youth Co-ordinator is Tiffany Rhodes. Youth Group meets following worship on Sunday afternoon until 3 P.M.
