FPC just finished their Galactic Blast Vacation Bible School 2010, our cadets voyaged into outer space praising God. Through daily missions, the cadets learned about creation, that God is always with them, and He knows them by name. They also learned ways they can help take care of our earth as good stewards for God.
Several families went to Mo-Ranch this year and enjoyed fun, fellowship, and of course food.

FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF MCKINNEY, PARTICIPATED IN A CELEBRATION OF THE "INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF THE ORGAN", AS DESIGNATED BY THE AMERICAN GUILD OF ORGANISTS, BY HOLDING A PIPE ORGAN CONCERT IN THE SANCTUARY ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND, 2008.
THIS CONCERT WAS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND WAS ADVERTISED IN LOCAL AREA NEWSPAPERS, AND ON DALLAS' VERY OWN CLASSICAL MUSIC STATION, WRR 101.1 JUST AROUND 100 PEOPLE ATTENDED TO LISTEN TO MUSICAL FAVORITES OFFERED BY THE CONGREGATION & FRIENDS OF FIRST PRESBYTERIAN, BEAUTIFULLY PERFORMED BY JANICE BOUMA, OUR DIRECTOR OF MUSIC, ON OUR 21 RANK CASAVANT ORGAN.
