Thank you for visiting the Outreach Page on our website. The Outreach Committee welcomes you to the First Presbyterian Church of McKinney, Texas. The committee was formed by the Session of the Church to stay abreast of the happenings in the community and within the congregation to better inform the congregation and the community of our Outreach activities.
Members of the committee are members of the ministries of the church. We meet as needed to define direction, establish goals and develop plans to reach the un-churched community, our congregational needs, and the spiritual needs of the congregation.
We invite input to the committee from the various ministries and members alike.
*OUR NEW CARILLON SYSTEM SOUNDS OUT THROUGH THE DAY*
Just in case you haven't heard......................
Our carillon has been in place since the summer of 2008, and cheerfully sounds the Westminster Chime, tolls the hour at 9, Noon, 3 & 6 Mon.-Sat. and plays a hymn at random after the hour is struck. On Sunday the carillon rings out a short "Call to Worship" @ 8:45, then a Westminster Chime @ Noon, 3 & 6. We at First Presbyterian Church of McKinney hope this musical outreach will be a blessing to all who experience it!

EXCITING NEWS!
First Presbyterian Church of McKinney is pleased to announce that we have joyfully entered into an agreement with The Oaks Baptist Church, also of McKinney, to share our facilites for Worship services and Bible study.
Beginning Sunday March 1st, The Oaks Baptist Church worship service will begin @ 8:45 in the sanctuary, with Adult Sunday School classes following a time of fellowship @ 10:15 in Rooms 13 &14.
Please join First Presbyterian as we welcome The Oaks Baptist, in the glorious name of our Lord!
First Presbyerian's Sunday School is @ 9:30, with the Worship Service starting @ 10:55. A nursery is available during the service.
